Media Homework 19/03/12

Accuracy: This means how reliable the source is and how true it is. the more true it is more people will believe in it.
Balance: this is important and will happen in some documentaries. this is when the presenter will talk about for and against a topic and will let the customer decide what is right and wrong.
Impartiality: this is when the presenter will be give equal respect an empathy on both sides to show know one being biased or being favoured.
Objectivity: this is when the business shows a clear judgement.
Subjectivity: is when the producer ensures that no opinion is included within the programmer therefore preventing the problem of it being unbiased.
Opinion: this is when you or someone else will give their own view on something. its something that hasn't been proven in anyway.
Bias: this when someone or a group of people will favour one thing more then others. this is usually done in the news when they will favour for or against more.
Representation: this when their is a symbol or thing to help show the true meaning of something to help the viewers understand easier.
Access: This is what information the presenter can use.
Privacy: The presenter will make sure that peoples ID starts anonymous if they don't what people to know their ID.
Contract with viewer: this means that before a show starts or a documentary their is an outline or summary on what their documentary is about. this is usual done to show the customers that their program has met the expectations and should carry on watching the program. for example: in information button of the sky remote gives the viewer information about the program.
